Accessibility
Accessibility statement
Prewalk exists to make interviews more accessible, so we want this website and the tours we make to work for everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a clear orange outline showing where you are.
- Text and buttons meet colour contrast guidelines, and the site still works when you zoom to 400%.
- Pages use proper headings, labels and landmarks, so screen readers can move around them easily.
- Animations are switched off if you have asked your device to reduce motion.
- The site works on phones, tablets and computers, and needs no app or plug-in.
- The quote form shows clear messages if something is missing, and never relies on colour alone.
Our 360° tours
- Every tour includes the route in words: a written walkthrough of each step that works with screen readers and can be printed.
- Each 360° photo has a text description, and you can look around with the arrow keys or the on-screen buttons as well as by dragging.
- An audio walkthrough is available for tours that include it.
- Tours describe step-free routes, lifts, toilets, hearing loops and quiet spaces where the building has them.
Known limitations
- A 360° photo is a visual experience. The written route gives the same information without it.
- Older browsers without WebGL show a still image of each stop instead of the 360° view.
Tell us if something doesn’t work
If you find something on this website or in one of our tours that is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email hello@prewalk.co.uk. We aim to reply within two working days.
If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
