Privacy policy
This policy explains how Prewalk collects and uses personal information through this website and when we deliver tours. Prewalk is run by Tom Rogers, who is the data controller. You can contact us at hello@prewalk.co.uk.
What we collect
- Waitlist and enquiries: your name, work email, company name, when you need a tour, and anything you write in the comments box.
- Emails: anything you send to hello@prewalk.co.uk.
- Filming: when we film a client’s premises, images may include people or documents by accident. We blur faces, screens and documents before a tour goes live, and the client approves every image.
- Website visits: anonymous, aggregated statistics such as page views and referring sites. These do not identify you and do not use cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a quote. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver a tour you have booked. Our lawful basis is contract.
- To send you occasional updates about Prewalk, if you joined the waitlist. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run Prewalk. They only process your information on our instructions:
- Jotform runs our waitlist form and stores form submissions.
- Vercel hosts this website and provides our cookie-free visitor statistics.
- Bunny Fonts serves the fonts on this website without logging visitors’ IP addresses.
- GoDaddy provides our email and handles messages sent to hello@prewalk.co.uk.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved for UK data, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and waitlist details for up to 24 months after we last hear from you, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep business records for six years to meet accounting requirements.
Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies. The embedded Jotform form may use cookies it needs to work, such as preventing spam.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@prewalk.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if anything changes. Last updated 18 October 2026.
